Keto Beef & Broccoli
Chinese takeout used to be my favorite binge food until I started following a ketogenic lifestyle! These foods are usually loaded with additives and sweeteners that can really up the carb count and that’s not including the carbs that come from the white rice that is usually included. I decided to make a keto spin on this takeout staple.
Keto Beef & Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 lb cut broccoli florets
- 1 lb thinly sliced flat iron steak
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar swerve
- 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Steam or lightly boil and drain your broccoli florets and set aside
- Fry up your beef in oil and set aside, if cutting them yourself make sure to cut it thin! You only need to cook the beef for 2 minutes on each side.
- Turn down heat and whisk in soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce, ginger and garlic.
- Mix salt and xathan gum together and sprinkle while whisking to combine
- Turn up heat and add your broccoli and beef to coat.
- Serve with our cauliflower fried rice!
